Oh I'm getting anxious now! One more week then I can open this baby and see what nature has given me this time. It's almost like Christmas. Bundle 1 went thru the extreme heat and dry summer last year. This one has experienced cold, rain, snow, ice, and hopefully hasn't gathered a ton of pollen this spring (lol). I'm counting down the days till I can see how some of the experiments I layered into this one changed/developed.
So I've taken my first walk of the day, with my knees and hip joint I've broken down my 15 minute start-to-rebuild-me walk into manageable (easier, less painful) 8 minute or 5 minute walks, doing ever how many I need to in order to do the 15 minutes. I'm looking forward to the day, soon I hope, that I can breeze thru the 15 minutes in one walk and start adding more. I've been keeping my Sketchers on all day, from the time I get downstairs in the mornings until almost bedtime at night and I can honestly tell the difference in my knee and hip pain. This has been a new experience for me, I'm a barefoot girl, always have been. Guess I get that from my Granny Taylor. But I'm seeing in less than a week that I'm better off in supportive shoes the older I get. Now if I can just figure out how to stop my feet and ankles from swelling so much I'll be set. I hope the walking is going to help that too. So I'm sitting here, catching up my blog, drinking a big glass of water, waiting for my head to cool off (good ole nsaids) and then it's a short slide of the chair over to my work desk and playtime.
