It's Been a Productive Day

I happened upon some strips of a suede at the local Goodwill, one of my favorite places to shop according to my eldest grandson.  I purchased a fairly good size bag full of several colors.  I had a free form piece of denim/lace/antique brass studs applique I've been hoarding back for a while.  I cut a double strip of suede to fit my arm, then sewed both pieces together with the applique on top.  I cut around the applique leaving a bit of a suede edge and free form cut the ends and sewed around the edge.  Couldn't leave well enough alone so I decided to encrust the piece with bits and pieces of things including buttons, broken "coins:, beads, broken jewelry, polyclay faces, charms, etc.  I added a patina colored rub'n'buff wax to some of the metal pieces to age them a bit.  Now it's just a decision as to where and when to wear it.
