The end of Week 16, and this morning I went out and brought in my bundle and I have to say that I'm much more pleased with the results of this one than the first. I love the way the colors of the inks "cooked" this time for one thing, the blues and greens are beautiful. But then this bundle, the winter bundle had more exposure to wet weather than the summer bundle, so I'm thinking hanging one out in the wetter part of the year or a regular soaking in the dryer works better. Anyway here are some of the results:
The copper wire and piping didn't green up like I hoped, I'll work on that.

The inside of the bird cards - some of these papers will definitely have to be scanned before I use them just in case I want to use them again. I'm not sure what caused the circle (seen better on the outside of the cards), I have it on several papers and love it. It seems to have placed itself on each just right.
Is it just me or is there a palm tree in the middle of this one??????
These are tea bags I left closed with the tea inside, some others I opened and dumped and cleaned before I put them in.
These papers were laying below/against the unopened tea bags - the dark brown spots on the papers are the result.
The inks on this one above and below remind me of a map.
I think there are a lot more usable papers this time. There are also pieces of brown paper bags splattered with paint, ink, gesso, coffee filters, baby wipes, and one of the layers of dryer lint grabbed some of the ink and may prove to be an interesting addition to a mixed media piece. Time will tell. I think I will take a break from "bundling" until I use up some of the papers, etc. I have. The drawer is packed full of possibilities. But then again I may get an urge to hang another soon. I love the experimenting.

This is a gorgeous bundle. The colours are awesome.
An idea that pooped to mind. Why don't you paint the copper wire with yoghurt. I have heard on gardening programs of people doing this to new stone planters to age them. It may work with the wire. Just an idea. xx
I meant to say 'popped' not 'pooped'. LOLOL x
