Slowly Coming Back

Despite the extremely hot (we hit 100 the other day), humid southern summer I seem to have put on a little burst of creative energy.  Thankful everyday for a cool home to hide from the heat in, I have busied myself lately making earrings, over 200 pair to be exact over a weekend and off and on during the last two weeks.  About 80 pair still need ear wires or posts, I've run out of both and put a big dent in my head pin stash.  But I have learned an easy way to make my own french hooks and make them come out uniform every time.  But for this batch of earrings I'll be making a trip to Michael's and/or Hobby Lobby to get the hooks and posts.  It seems like the earring making has finally opened up my creative energy.  I finished 3 of the 8x10 partially done canvases this past week too.  Here they are:

I have two more 8x10's and several smaller pieces to finish whenever they tell me what they need (lol).  I'm enjoying my recent upswing of energy and hope my ideas keep forming in my head.  Today may be a very slow day however, it seems I am dealing with an FM flare that is zapping my energy and making me sore and achy all over.  May need a nap on the sofa later.  Headache, sore muscles, painful knees, and swollen lower legs, ankles, and feet have me moving at a turtle's pace.  Glad for the quiet.  I am busying myself with light housework and resting some, I have a "date night" with my two best buddies later.
